You are unfortunate if you are injured on the job. However you are fortunate that Ohio has a very good Workers Compensation Law and the insurance covers most claims.

One note....If you are injured on the job it is best to see me first. Most of the paperwork that needs to be done for Work Comp I do as a courtesy for you and it is routine paperwork in my office. If you need to be taken off work I will do the paperwork for you and send it to Work Comp.

When and if you need an attorney you can always get one later. I work with quite a few Work Comp attorneys and keep their cards here at the office or you may choose your own. I will not tell you who to go to but will give your their cards and you may call and make your own choice. 

At Derickson Health & Wellness Center you will be given an examination and if needed x-rays to determine the extent of your injuries. We will take care of most of the paper work for you, however there is some paperwork on your part. 

We will try to get you back to pre-injury status as soon as possible and we will try to keep you off work as little as possible. Some injuries may require extended time from work however and after thorough analysis of your exam and x-rays we will report our findings to you and explain our recommendations for your treatment.

Treatment may consist of Chiropractic adjustments to your spine or related area, Physio-Therapy to the injured area and in some cases nutritional supplements may be given to speed the recovery process. There may be instances where you are referred to a Massage Therapist or other health care provider. We do and recommend what needs to be done. Your health is that important.
